"I compose still lifes from simple objects: dishes from different generations stored at the cottage and plants collected in the field. Each item is filled with its own mood and memory. While the glassware attracts the light, I absorb the energy of the sun. Fragile dry plants saturated with light seem to come to life in the photographs and I want to remember these ecstatic moments of my creation." - E. K.
