"This work questions the perspective we have on the world: from our point of view as humans, and especially in a period of confinement, our environment seems to be limited and restricted, while from the window of the Earth, the Universe is in fact infinite and immense. The goal of the project is to embody the landscapes of my place of life, the province of Quebec in Canada, as well as visions of Space, within the same image. Time and space are thus flattened to no longer embody reliable referents of our temporality and our spatiality. This recreates universes that are completely outside of space and time, and which, through their dreamlike character, embody a poetic vision of space. And, these unreal landscapes, which seem to be embodied outside space and time, then create dreamlike images accepting a place for contemplation." - C. S.
